The Turkish Grand Prix was about two different comings together – that of the fight between Red Bull and McLaren, but more significantly the meeting of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, who managed to meet on the track – in what looked like a Vettel mistake – whilst running first and second.

Forza Horizon 2 launched this week at the 2014 E3 gaming show in Los Angeles. Time, then, to see what the critics say about one of 2014’s most eagerly awaited driving games. For the last few years, driving simulators have raised the bar so much that the gaming community can now safely declare that there is little need for them to go out in the real world and have fun with their cars.
Opel has released a teaser sketch of its new five-door extended-range electric car ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Based on the Voltec powertrain and chassis architecture of Chevrolet's Volt, the Ampera promises to surpass that car in terms of style by some margin. The body appears to be nearly identical between the A- and C-pillars, but the deformed horseshoe-shaped headlamp design and two-bar grille come straight from the 2007 Flextreme concept, as do the car's tree-branch alloy wheels.
